Hello fellow Acorns. Nancy and I have been married too long to mention. We have two daughters. Robyn, 33,married with two sons (aren't grandkids great?) and Reina ,20, working and going to school. We fled California over 14 years ago, having tired of the heat and crowds. The Pacific Northwest took some getting used to (a different method of gardening for sure). We love Seattle and live within an hour of city, sound or mountains. I'm looking at retiring from the Teamsters' Union in about 3 years. We plan on living here for 8 or ten more years then we'll see what comes up. Drop us a line.

Hi all, just discovered this page in search of reunion plans for the 40th. I will not say much about me, I am a boring person so do not want to put you to sleep. I am however really looking forward to celebrating the 40th and especially seeing all of you.

I left Morgan Hill soon after graduating, then spent a number of years living in San Francisco. I'm married and now living in Auburn, near Seattle. Our two daughters, ages 24 and 21 are almost moved out. What a change over our generation! We couldn't wait to get out on our own. I did get in touch with Daphne Renelle and she came to visit us a couple years ago. We've driven through Morgan Hill a few times while on vacation, and it sure has changed. I guess it's grown up just as we all have.

It's great to see that we can all still be Nuts in cyberspace. I'm in San Jose and teach third grade in Morgan Hill - I didn't fall far from the oak. My daughter and son also attended L.O. I've just taken up golf - never thought I'd say that! I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion in October. I hope no outsiders mistake it for a Halloween party!

Greetings to all my classmates. I pass through MH several times a year on my way to visit the parent's homestead in San Martin, and barely recognize the town. I went off to San Jose State along with many other classmates and graduated in 1972 with a biology-marine science degree. Then I left the land of oaks to join the federal government (FDA) in SF the same year. Like others, in 1979 I left CA for Seattle and have been enjoying the soothing moist and green environment since then. I became a manager and international fisheries expert with FDA and just retired in January 2005 after 33 years. I met my wife in SF and we married in 1974. She continues to work (also FDA) to support my life style and kid's college tuition. We have a son Timothy (1981) who graduated from Univ Southern California last year and is attending law school at Santa Clara Univ. Daughter Stephanie (1985) is attending Washington State Univ in Pullman, WA (pre-med). Look forward to upcoming re-union and communicating with classmates through this site. Go Acorns!

I married Vince Saso in 1973 ( 32 years of marriage) and we have 2 children, Jennifer 31 and Vincent 27. Neither of them are married so we have no grand-children. Vince works for the State of Calif. EDD as a program manager in Campbell. I was employed the Morgan Hill Unified School Dist, but have retired due to an injury. We have lived in Gilroy the past 9 years.

Well folks, it has been 35 years since Live Oak turned us loose on society. I hope that some of us just happened to make some our hopes and dreams come true,or even better yet, made a definite impact on society. I would sure like to hear from some of you and learn where lifes journey has taken you. I am still living in Augusta, Georgia. My Son is in the Army and is presently stationed in Afghanistan and my daughter is still living at home while applying for college. And I am still single; I guess I never found the right one or anyone that would put up with me. Anyway, drop me a line sometime or if your are adventurous, I am in the book. TTFN

Gosh, I'm glad I found this page! I've just recently moved back to MH, after living in Las Vegas for 3 1/2 years. My mom is alone now, and I moved in with her to help out. Hopefully, I'll be going to work soon, but being unemployed gives me time to work on my Great American Novel, currently in rewrites for the umpteenth time. I've been single for 14 years, have a 30yr old son, a 28 year old daughter and a 23 year old son all still living in the area, so it's nice to be back home. Would love to hear from anyone out there who remembers me!

Hi all! I'm alive and well in good ol' Morgan Hill. I worked in the fire department here since 1969 and I'm now retired. I satrted in summer work while going to college and decided to stay. I married Jayne Whitmore in 1976 after dating for over six years, and YES, we're still together! We had two girls, both are out of college now. Yeah! I'm looking foreward to a little traveling and restoring my 1970 Nova SS. I hope to see most of you at our 40th reunion in 2007.
