By the way if there is anybody that took some pictures of the re-union, I would realy like to have some if possible. It was great. We took a 40 day and night camper trip. In November of this year we will be going to my husband's 30 year re-union to Armonk, New York. We will be traveling the same way. So hope every one is well. Talk to you soon. Hi Everybody. Well, after 4 years of college at Georgia Tech and 6 years overseas in the process control industry I started a couple of businesses, the first was a hobby turned sideline in rare books. The second was a property development company and real estate sales. I have 2 children, a girl named Annamaria born December 2004, and our son Aidan, born January 2003. I have been in Real Estate since 1997 and currently work for Intero right here in Gilroy. I sell Rare Books on the side. I customize cars when I find the time and I am still a pretty wild snow skier. I would love to take the time to get re-aquainted so PLEASE don't hesitate to drop me an email and we can reminisce about Mr. Lund, Mrs. Walker (who I spoke to a few months back), and so on. Visit my homepage or my blog at www.activerain.com/toddamelio

Hello boy this page has been great I have heard from so many of our class mates. Does any body know anything about our 20 year? Well things just keep changing by the day around here. My son and I jsut got back from washington d.c. on his national ffa convention. I saw the ffa group from Morgan Hill and talked to them for awhile it was great. Washington is full of miltary police every place you look and security is very tight. you have to go through metal detectors just to go into a cafateria there. The place is so full of history it is unreal. We are still running our buissnes and that is going o.k. I am going back to school to become a school teacher can you believe that. Norm is good and the kids are better. Our son Jason will be 18 in nov. and he will graduate this year then leave for the miltary,Life goes by so fast. Well hope this finds all well and until next time take care

Here is an update. Arizona is still awesome and I am having a great time here. I have met a wonderful woman, Jill, and we were married in Hawai'i in Jan 2003. She is originally from NJ and a Yankees fan so there is some friction there because I love the Diamondbacks. (Bank One Ballpark is such a cool place to see a game). We also just added a new addition to the family. Matthew John Baca was born on June 13th and is the best thing to ever happen to me. He is such a perfect kid and I am always holding him. Arizona is so beautiful and there is so much to do here. Even though the soles of your shoes start melting if you stay in one place too long, Arizona is such a great state. I bought my house here for around $100k brand new and my property taxes run about $800 per year and my mortgage is $700 per month. No wonder a lot of students at ASU buy condos rather than renting. Here the jobs are plentiful and the pay is very good. The housing here is just awesome. They can't hire law enforcement fast enough here. If you're getting tired of the BS in the Bay Area and California, look at Arizona. There are plenty of jobs, no power problems, great weather year round, a governor that was not recalled, plenty of golf, etc. Look me up if you are interested and I'll send you some info. please stay in touch. My ph # is 480-325-8983 or 602-738-9219.

Update: It's me again, just an update on things. I hope everyone is doing well. I now have been remarried to a (still) wonderful man (Marcial) for 2 1/2 years now. We are still living in Turlock about 1 1/2 hours from Morgan Hill. My son (Jay) is 15, soon to be 16 and my daughter (Carol Ann) will be 14, next month. Now, as of June 9th, they are both in high school (gosh, I am really beginning to think I might be getting up there). My step-daughter (Marcie) graduated from Dental School, at the end of last year, and has recently passed her RDA exams (she is soon to be 21 - we are very proud of her, especially since she isn't the bit interested in kids, so I don't have to worry about becoming a grandma any time soon) and my step-son (Michael) has just graduated from high school (he is soon to be 18). Watching him graduate brought back a lot of memories. Listening to his principal talking about their friends now and promises of never losing contact. I remember making those same promises, but life got busy; married, kids, divorce, single, remarried. That is one promise I wish I had never broken. But thank goddess for computers, I have tracked down a few of my ole buddies or they have tracked me down. But I still have so many others I would like to hear from, as well. So if you remember this ole four eyes, brace face gal, (which, thanks to a new procedure for severe astigmatisms and nearsidedness, I no longer have to wear any type of corrective lenses - YEAH!! And yes, I did finally get my braces off - after I graduated and turned 18) please e-mail me. I would love to hear from you. P.S. In my last update I mentioned, "Let me tell you a house full of teenagers is something that I think everyone should experience, if nothing else, just to test your patience." Well, try having a house full of teenagers during the summer. WOW!!! And since, I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom, I get the wonderful pleasure of.... RUNNING TO MY ROOM AND PUTTING MYSELF ON A "TIME-OUT". hahaha!!! Type at you soon.

Wow...this is great. It is so nice to hear about what my classmates have been doing since graduation! After leaving Morgan Hill, I went to SJSU and completed a BA in Speech Communication and later an MS in Technical Communication. During that time, I moved to the central valley for a couple of years, and returned to the Fremont area to start my family. Right now, I am living in Pleasanton with my 12 year old son, Brendan. As my 'main man', Brendan joins me on crazy adventurous vacations, such as ferry and mountain biking tours of the Alaskan inland passage. Thankfully, he didn't join me on my month long trip to India. I happened to be there during the earthquake and tsunami of Christmas 2004. What a trip THAT was! I recently finished an MBA in Marketing, and currently work as a Senior Technical Writer for Cisco Systems. I have the pleasure of writing the router configuration manuals that no one reads. :-) Yep, I'm a geek.

Fellow acorns - I'm currently living in Gilroy, have two boys (age 9 and 6) and married for 12 years. I have worked the last 7 years at a technology company located in Sunnyvale as the CFO - click on the home page. We were public on the London stock exchange until 2002 with a research facility in Israel (lots of travel). After college, I worked for Ernst & Young (CPA firm) for seven years before venturing out into the real world. I will probably retire in the next 2 - 3 years. If 24/7 with my wife and kids becomes too much, I will continue working. I look forward to hearing from other alums.

Hi there! Remember me? I was exchange student in 1981-82, senior. I have often wondered what became of all of you, that gave me a wonderful year at Live Oak. I especially remember my work with the year book, that is for me great to remember, that did som of the work in that book. I have a daughter and live in at small town called Odense. I have taken several educations, but ended up as an air hostess for SAS. After 10 years.......I stopped, to be more for my little daughter. She is 6 years now, and will start school this summer. Hope to hear from those of you who remembers me! Love Marianne

Hi! After graduating from Georgetown in '86 (Economics) I actually went into computers - did 11 years for IBM, but now I do Java and database programming for a startup. I keep in touch with a couple '82 people like Yvette or Simon, a couple Avilas, Mr. Huning and of course my siblings who also went to Live Oak, Stu and Aud! :-) For those who knew my mom - Unfortunately, after a long good life she is dying of brain cancer. I hesitate to put up my e-mail because of the "spammers" of the Internet, but if you want, send me a postcard at P. O. Box 60102, CA zipcode 94306. Bye!

I feel old! But what fun it is to read about all of you.I currently reside north of Boulder CO in Longmont. Share a home with the love of my life Pat and his boys Allen (15) and Anthony (11). I won their hearts with my cooking! Thanks mom for the great training!!! I'm a Realtor and being that I get bored at the drop of a hat, I also work for a 3rd generation fine jeweler. I've lived all over the map, Monterey, San Juan Island, Bend Oregon, Oakland, Colorado. I'm a jack of all trades, Advanced Life Support Paramedic, personal trainer, massage therapist, Realtor. In my spare time, what's that?, I enjoy my family and nephews Gabriel (5) and Forrest (3), they own Auntie's heart, riding my Harley, travel and music. My dearest friend, Lisa Rice, is who I keep in touch with most since graduation. On a short note...remember my sister Shiela? We see eachother often and she's just as beautiful as ever! My Mom and Dad are doing well and preparing to move back to our place of origin, New York! Wish there was more space to write but I'm running out....Much happiness to you all and perhaps I'll get to mingle with you at our next reunion. Until then or sooner. Chao.

I just had a big birthday bash in Carmel the week of 7/13/08 with the Harris girls, Mary Swift, Denise Lonetti, and even a cameo appearance by Shawn Lytle (some things never change)! It was great to cruise through town (can't believe Jack's is now Sinaloa's) and to see old friends. Glad to hear so many of you are doing so well....

A year after graduation I was spirited away to Orlando, FL by my parents. I left Morgan Hill with the worst of expectations, but Orlando turned out to be a good place. I had a bad email address up here for a few years, so if you have tried it in the past, give it another go. The new one will work, and I would really enjoy hearing from you, faculty and fellow students alike!

Um, yeah. I doubt anyone listed here remembers me, with the possible exception of Rick Bottomley and maybe Marcia(Goth)Braden. I'll bet Brian Shioya remembers me too, cause I was definately a Tsunami fan(I think I still have a t-shirt in a drawer somewhere). I'll be brutally honest and say I remember very few of the names listed here. I'll have to go pull out the year book and see if I can match the faces to the names, then add 20 or 30 lbs plus some wrinkles and hair loss to get an idea of what you look like now. Back in the day I was a stoner and hung out in the smoking area a lot. I used to hang out with Kevin Hart, Eric Robertson and Earl Davis. I'm also linked to other Live Oak grads such as my brother Chris and my sister Donna who married Scott Latham and my cousin Julie Vawser who married Rhett Hall. I was thinking about how it will be 20 years soon, so I did a search on yahoo to see if a reunion was being planned. That's when I came across this page. My time at LO was actually pretty painful emotionally, since I was such a skinny dweeb. But I did manage to get a girl friend (finally) by Jr. year. Tracey McCain, class of '83. That turned out to be pretty painful emotionally as well, do you see a trend developing here? After graduation I went to USC, University of South County otherwise known as Gavilan, which was like extended high school. I was on the 9 year plan and finally got my BS degree in Industrial Technology from SJSU in 1991. As you can imagine there was lots of partying and basic flakiness along the way(see emotional pain mentioned earlier). During that 9 year period I married Mary Ann Gonzales, which lead to more emotional pain and divorce. She was such a hottie, but everyone else thought so too, so she wound up cheating on me and by 1990 we were history. No hard feelings though. I hear she is married with children now. Professionally I've worked in the Semiconductor Equipment business for the last 16 years. I have done a variety of things working at Applied Materials, which is based in Santa Clara. Most recently I was a Mfg. Engineer for 3 years before taking a postion at Applied's internal training center. I'm now a technical trainer serving the Engineering community at Applied's manufacturing facility in Austin, Tx. I've lived here since 1993, mainly to escape the high cost of living in the Valley. I pretty much figured out the emotional pain thing and I'm now happily married to my wife Tracye who I met in Las Vegas roughly ten years ago. We have a son Josh who will be two soon. I am still an A's, Raiders and Sharks fan and still go to as many games as I can when I travel to the Bay Area. My hobbies include motorcycling, rebuilding Volkswagons, mountian biking, snowboarding(hard to do in Texas)and playing bass in garage bands(ear plugs required!).

Hi, everyone. This was a fun site to discover, I only wish everyone would join. I now live in Washington state with my husband of 19yrs Mark Unjian (you may remember him) and two boy's, Jadrien 14 and Kellan 11. We started dating right out of H.S., our first date was a Day on the Green concert, you remember those. We had always been friends and really enjoyed each others company, so it was no surprise when we had such a great time. We were married in 1988 and bought a house together in M.H., it was on one of those first time buyer plans (what a deal). Mark was working for IBM and I was working for Redwood Empire, a wholesale lumber company. An opportunity came up for Mark to transfer to Washington and work for IBM at the Boeing plant. We came up here to visit and fell in love with this lush green landscape. We packed up and moved in 1992 and nine months later had our first baby. I became a stay at home mom and life went on until son number two arrived in 1996. We needed a bigger house so moved to a small town called Buckley. Mark was offered a job at Boeing and has been with them for the past 10 years. Our sons love basketball, so I guess you could call me a basketball mom instead of soccer mom. Life is good and I look forward to hearing from some of you.

Wow...crazy how time flies. Member me? I was a song bird (in choir) for those of you who remember. Still singing a bit. I was not popular but had lots of friends. I really didn't like school much. I love reading these profiles and am remembering a lot of stuff I'd forgotten about. I am still living in Oroville, CA and working for Butte County. I have 3 kids now...Cassie is 23 and in the Air Force (I'm very proud of her)she's my rebel! She is very beautiful AND very smart! Zach is 16 and is in high school. He is a great kid! He has the most amazing mechanical aptitude.
Paris Lily is 4 and quite a handful! She is such a live wire! She loves to sing and dance like her ham of a mother! My husband of now 7 years is a great guy and keeps me laughing! He looks like a big biker guy or some kind of Viking raider! He is 10 years younger than I am...what was I thinking? If you remember me you can Email me at jgilpin@buttecounty.net

I'm very happily married, have 4 kids and live in Princeton, NJ. I am a computer consultant. Even though I went back and settled in my native state, NJ (Yes, I'm from "Joisey"), I still have great memories of my year in CA and try to get back to visit friends and relatives in Morgan Hill when I can. To all who playfully teased me about NJ: Yes, NJ still has a lot of trees and No, I don't live off an exit! Take care everyone.

After graduation, I became a missionary for the LDS church to Toronto Canada for 1 1/2 years. I then joined the Army Reserve to get some money for college. I attended school at BYU. In 1991, my unit was activated due to the Gulf War. Luckily, we only got as far as Germany before the war was over. I then became a Social Worker for the State of Utah. After 10 years, I got burnt out with Social Work and decided to become a Cop. I have been a Deputy Sheriff for Cache County Utah since June 2003. I live in Logan,(Cache County) Utah. This is in the Northern part of Utah. My folks still live in Morgan Hill. I try to visit them a couple of times a year. I married Deborah who I met at BYU(21 years). We have 3 wonderful kids.

I'm currently working and living in Santa Clara with my wife and three sons. After Live Oak I spent four years in the Army. After the Army I worked for several technology companies. Along the way I played in a few local bands, playing clubs around the bay area. Eventually, too much business travel interfered with the music...and the paycheck took priority, so I had to give up the music :-(. The gigging was great fun, while it lasted. Currently, I'm working as an engineer at a cable modem company here in Santa Clara called Terayon. Now, when I'm not working, I'm coaching my son's soccer team, Santa Clara Sporting Club. Myself, I've pretty much stopped playing soccer after I blew out my ankle playing indoor. Well, that's all for now. I wish you all good health & happiness.
