In 1996, after a series of strange coincidences(fate) brought us together, I married Bill Shockley (Class of 1984). We have a wonderful life together and live in the mountain community of Oakhurst, Ca., just south of Yosemite. I am a Physical Therapy Assistant and currently work full-time for Kaiser Permanente. My husband and I mostly enjoy spending time with our friends & family, hosting parties, and riding his motorcycle in the good weather.
I hope to see you at the upcoming reunion!

Hello everyone, I am a pathetic loser, with no personal life, or interests. Even though I earn a good income, it has not brought me happiness, so I want others to feel my pain, and suffering. I am nice to people at first, but I have a tendency to insult others, although I consider my comments to be good natured. This is a type of bullying, where if the victim objects, then the perpetrator such as myself, belittles the victim by calling them insensitive. In other words, I can dish it out, but I can't take it when people retaliate, because I don't take rejection very well. I guess this has a lot to do with the way I was raised, as I did not receive a lot of love as a child, so I don't have any to give to anyone, nor do I know how to express it. This is how I am, and will always be, as I am unable, and unwilling to change. I don't think I have a problem, so you will just have to accept me as I am. If you happen to see me again, whether it is at a high school reunion, or anywhere else, I wanted you all to know what I am really like, as any kindness I show is just an act. I will not hesitate to harass others who have rejected or defied me, either by phone or e-mail. I drink a lot, to forget my problems, and because I have nothing to live for, or look forward to. I do a lot of traveling, but I don't have anyone to see, not that anyone would be interested in meeting me. I find pleasure, in causing others pain. That's what I am all about.

Well, hello. I hope you are all doing wonderfully. In brief, I am engaged. Can you believe it and it didn't involve a shot gun or anything. My beloved Peter, said "hey do you like that ring" I said "duh" and we lived happily ever after. I am selling BMW's over in the Pleasanton, and although I am not the typical car sales person, I do on occasion wear plaid. (It happens). Please drop me a line sometime and let me know how you all are doing. I would love to hear from you.

I've been married to the high school boyfriend I couldn't let get away for nineteen mostly amazing years. I followed Dave around the world as an army wife for the first 11 years doing A LOT of moving!! We finally settled down in Washington. I finished my business degree on the ten year program. I slave as an accountant for the school district my children attend. We have three brilliant, incredible beautiful kids, Mia (13) and twin boys Nathan & Kurtis (9). Although I was only at LO for a short time, I'm greatful for the people that reached out to me and made my senior year unforgetable.

Hi Everybody! WOW! Long time since high school ha! Seems like a lifetime ago. Well this is what I have been up to: I have been married since 1989 to my wonderful husband Ryan Bell who is also a Live Oak graduate of 1987. We moved up to Sacramento for a while but decided it just was too hot up there and didn't seem like home so moved back to MH and bought a house in 1994. We started a mail order computer business that sells notebooks and accessories and have been very busy with that. We have two beautiful daughters Amanda (2 years) and our newest edition Jennifer (8 months). I really love being a mom! I am staying home with our girls now and Ryan is running the business. I would love to hear from anyone so feel free to e-mail me. Take Care Everyone!

After school I wandered the san Jose area for a few years. I spent many years drowning in alcohol and drugs until I joined the US Army in my early 20's. I was stationed in Germany as well as Ft. Hood, Texas. While in Germany I was deployed to Bosnia in december 1995. I received an Honorable Discharge after 8 years of service. My wife Michelle and I have been married 10 years and live in South San Jose. We have four kids.(Mine, hers and ours) Clarissa is 19 and attending SJ State, Joey is 16 and attending Santa Teresa High, Jacob is 8, and Joshua is almost 6. I have truly been blessed in my life after such a slow start. I work as a service manager for Ricoh Corporation(IKON) and have been with them for over 12 years. I have been a friend of Bill W since 6/17/1997. I believe it would be interesting to see people from school again. I love reading everyone's profiles regarding your lifes and accomplishments. Email me if you would like. God Bless.

Well, I didn't make it to the reunion and from reading all the feedback, I feel like I missed something great. Let me see, the last 12 years...here is the condensed version. I went to Arizona state and swam for 1 year. My parents moved to Dayton Beach, Fl. and I followed. Yeah Daytona is a big party and I was one life in it. I have moved around going to Santa Barbara, back to Daytona, then to Orlando, on to Tampa (where I finally earned my B.A.) and back to Orlando. On the first Orlando stint I met my Puerto Rican princess, and she was fool enough to marry me. We were married on May 1st, 1999 in St. Petersburg, Fl. My career? Well I have done everything from waiting tables, to maintenance, sports broadcasting to being cast in a t.v. show. The only career I want now is: 1) I am going to work on finishing my computer certifications to work in the tech field(so any connections would be great) 2) I want to be the best parent I can be. No, not yet, but we are planning on it this year. We are just practicing now. I really want to hear from any of you and I miss the great days at Live Oak. Hope to hear from you, Buck. P.S. I have since LIve Oak gone by the name of Buck, because it fits me and there are just too many people named John.

After graduation, I went to Brigham Young University. I graduated with a masters in accounting in 1992. I worked for a couple of years in public accounting as an auditor. After that I began work at Modus Media, a software manufacurer and distributer, as an accounting manager. During that time, I also met and married my wonderful husband, Mike. We settled down in Utah (so Mike could ski). We love it here. We have two adorable kids, Aubrey (4) and Trenton (1). In 1998, Mike finished graduate school and became a Nurse Practitioner. He works in a Pediatrics practice here in Utah. This past summer, I decided to "retire" for a few years to spend time with the kids. It has been fun to stay home with them. Living outside of California, I haven't kept in touch with many of you. It would be great to hear from any of you that might remember me.

Hi. Mike Johnson forced me to do this.. Long story.
Cool LOHS website, nicely organized! Its amazing how the internet can bring so many people together from all over the world. Just wait til they set up a webcam site for us, heehee!--- Funny how sometimes I have bumped into Live Oak High grads after many years have past. Its like, "don't I know you? or haven't I've seen you someplace before?" what a small world, LOL!--- Enjoyed reading about some familiar friends of the past and looking forward to see more pop up in the future.--- Me?, well I can't say I have done too many fascinating things in my life compared to those that I have read. Just the usual, traveled to Hong Kong, China, Japan, Guam, Hawaii, Toronto, Montreal, Mexico and across the US. Started a direct sales company in 1988, had up to 30 employees in 3 locations, In 1995 started a different business, been self-employed ever since.--- My spare time I enjoy collecting antiques, playing the stock market, spending time with friends and family, going out eating spicey asian foods, and sushi.--- Happy to say I have never drank alcohol, nor done drugs or smoke. Try to help others out when I can! -Have met a lot of wonderful people, and have had a few friends that have past away.--- Well! I got to run, hope to hear from some of you soon, and remember!,--- "NO ONE IS POOR, WHO HAS FRIENDS!" Best Wishes to all and Hang Loose! -James Chan

Well, I'm married to a man (Brad) I met playing hockey. I knew it had to be love when he wanted to date me after he had seen me in full hockey gear, no makeup, and sweating like a pig! We have one daughter, Erin Noelle, who will certainly get her first pair of hockey skates at age two. She may be an only child, however, unless I soon forget the trauma of labor and delivery. We live in Los Altos, but should really move closer to the Compaq Center since we have Sharks' season tickets. GO SHARKS!!! After bumming around as an Accounting Manager for several startups, I decided to get a real job at an established medical device company as a Cost Analyst. It's pretty interesting work and keeps me busy during the day, but I love getting home to be with my family. No more startup hours!!! I kept in touch with a couple of friends after high school, Corinna Fuentes and Sophia and Serena Moon. I see that Corinna is already listed (she should be since she's the one that told me about this site), so I'll babble a little about the Moon sisters...Sophia lives in Newark with her husband and two boys. Serena recently moved back to L.A. from San Francisco with her husband. My life certainly isn't what I anticipated it to be when I graduated from high school, but I can't imagine being happier if it had turned out otherwise.

Hey Everyone!!
After graduation, I spent 7 years in construction until a bad fall put an end to that career. After some training I entered the world of high tech and have been there ever since. I have worked for companies such as The Network Technology Group, Novell and am currently with Intel Incorporated. In my spare time, I run my own consulting company Alpha
Omega Consulting. I run a web site for Arizona residents for fun... check it out www.myazonline.com.
I have been married over 19 years to a wonderful woman (Melanie Willis class of 1987) and we have four beautiful children, Courtney(12), Caleb(10),
Kaitlyn and Katarina (Twins, 8). We are all living happily in Chandler, Arizona.
Our family stays busy with our activities at Church, Melanie is the Women's Ministry director and I am a commander in the Royal Rangers program and the Men's ministry director.
I have stayed in contact with Mike Kline over the years and consider him as part of my family. I haven't really heard from too many other people. I guess if you use contact from old friends and acquaintances as a barometer of influence, I haven't had much. Truth be told, I am a much different man than I was a boy...
I will respond to any email I receive, I promise... I would love to catch up with anyone who remembers me. You can email me at lonnie@clardyfamily.com.

Let's see... This California girl is now way too far from the ocean. I'm landlocked in western Colorado with my now-hubby, then-boyfriend, Jim Hemig and our 2 sons, Bryan ('93) and Aaron ('96).
I did earn a BA in Journalism, then chose to stay home and raise my beautiful boys. I now volunteer at their schools, occasionally substitute teach, and try to squeeze some writing in from time to time.
I hope someone who still lives in Morgan Hill plans a 20th reunion for us, 'cuz I'm ready to take a peek back. Would dearly love to hear from Dawn Estep, Chrystal Edge and Jolynn Darnauer, since they haven't found the site yet.
There, Julie, is that more up to your standards! =)

Hello. After high school I went to San Jose State University. I studied mechanincal engineering and music production. After 4 years I changed my mind and entered the graphic design program. I graduated college in 1996. Since 1992 I have worked for design agencies and advertising agencies. In 1997 I went out on my own and I continue today with design and web development. Never married, no children. A little too busy with work and still enjoying a bit of a night life. I moved to San Francisco briefly but I am back in San Jose.

Hello everybody,
LO seems like such a distant memory. Here is a brief update: After LO I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for two years serving an LDS mission. Then I went on to BYU and graduated in Engineering and also got a Master's of Engineering Management. During college, I married Sheri and had two boys. Since then I have lived mainly in Salt Lake City area working in engineering and real estate. We have 5 boys now. In the winter we ski a lot. In the summer we ride mt. and road bikes. We just completed our 2nd marathon and we are starting to get hooked on them. Haven't been back to MH area since parents retired and moved to Salt Lake City in 2000. It would be great to hear from the old gang. I haven't been to any of the reunions if there have been any. I would like to attend the next one. Fire me a line cutfam@earthlink.net
